I Figured, a sure fireway to start with a blog about a Christian Life foundation, would be, by setting a Foundation! I know right! Also, take note at the bottom is a song that relates to this, and a bible verse to support it. Be Blessed!
So, more or less, as you know, when your a Christian you need to ensure every aspect of your life, is built on, not around, a foundation of Christ. But what does this foundation look like? Your not actually building a statue in your own backyard are you? Well, of course not, feel free to, but let's be real here. Your building a foundation that won't be damaged by time, decay or break down. Your building a spiritual foundation. But to build one mirroring what Jesus built, which is what we are called to do, requires you to be open to two things. Depth, and Width. Jesus spent the first 30 years of his life, building the foundations for 3 and a half years of the most life changing ministry EVER to hit this planet. If you build a tower, you set deep, deep foundations. And yes, this can take some time, but you need to be patient and go as deep as God will take you- So when wind and storms come, it won't shake, because it has deep roots. But, this would all be useless without Width. And this, is where many more struggle. You can't say, "Oh, God, i'm not into Prophecying and Praying for people on Streets" or "God, ill do anything, but not on Fridays. Thats my day off from you". You need to be prepared to build a foundation in all areas of service to God. He calls us to all areas, not just one. Build a foundation that covers all your life, so all areas of your life are giving service to him, and build a foundation deep enough to withstand any Storm.
But, like, How do you do this?
Simple. Stay in prayer. Don't finish it with Amen, or even a little brb. He's going with you, so you may aswell talk to him. Stay in prayer, and remember, not only does your foundation go Wide, and Deep, but so does God's love. Don't get caught up having fallen short and sinned- Learn from it, and move on. Thats the key. Never stop growing. A Man who reaches a point in his faith who says he has nothing else to learn, has a dead Faith. God Loves you, love him, an spend time with him, get to know HIM, not things about him, and you may find your foundations near completion, you've just been looking in the wrong direction.
